Bid 4 Freedom

What is it?

We would like to be a part of an exciting initiative called “Bid 4 Freedom” which will be an online auction raising money for “The A21 Campaign.” As a potential sponsor we would like to invite you to donate some kind of good or service with a retail value of at least $200. (eg. Sports memorabilia, travel gift vouchers, tickets to sporting match, free consultation and dress design with fashion designer, 2 hour flying lesson in a real plane, personal training session, etc.)

When is it?

The online auction will be held during Frontline Renaissance a conference to be held at Hillsong Church, Waterloo Campus from 20th - 22nd January 2011. The conference will be attended by over 1000 delegates will be able to participate in bidding over the 3 days until the end of the Conference at 3 pm on Saturday, 22nd January 2011.

The winners will be notified live on stage at the close of Frontline Renaissance and notified via email (in case they are not present at the time).

How will it help?

100% of the proceeds of the auction will go towards The A21 Campaign (www.thea21campaign.org). The A21 Campaign aims to abolish injustice for illegal human trafficking in the 21st century. Human Trafficking is an organized criminal industry that affects every nation. Whilst the statistics can seem overwhelming, it is important to remember that every number represents the life of a victim.

Today an estimated 27 million people are held in slavery. Statistics state that every 2 minutes a child is sexually exploited. Some of these children are as young as four. In some cases trafficked victims are forced to sexually service as many as 40 men a day. It is easy to be overwhelmed by the issue of human trafficking and think that we cannot make a difference. But the crime of human trafficking cannot be ignored! Although we cannot do everything we believe we can do something. We hope you can partner with us to bring light in these people’s lives.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us by being one of our sponsors. We aim to raise $20,000 from this event which will make a significant impact through the work of The A21 Campaign.
