SAFE Workshops
The workshops will be for women who have experienced or know of someone impacted by childhood sexual abuse. You will gain information, knowledge and skills on how to do life well and move forward on your journey.

Balancing the See-Saw
This program is for women who are in a domestic violence situation or have experienced it in their life as a child or as an adult. The group aims to prevent, support and assist women (and families) who have experienced domestic violence, with the aim of building positive, healthy and happy relationships within their families and other relationships. Including: what is DV? The cycle of DV, the effect of DV in families, assertiveness, self-esteem, choices, resources available, plus key community speakers.

Building Safer Families
A one hour interactive - workshop, which is aimed at equipping parents of children 2-12 years, with the tools and skills necessary to help them keep their children safe and build strong and unified families. Covers: What is child abuse? How does abuse affect the child? Building strong communication in your family, Knowing the people in your child’s life, Boundaries and positive parenting and Internet safety.

Early Childhood Education Sessions
Monthly information sessions for parents with children 1 to 5 years of age, occurs in conjunction with playgroup; includes guest speakers discussing topics such as behaviour management, brain gym workshop for children, healthy foods for children, dental & medical care for children and sibling rivalry. Sessions also include fantastic morning tea & the time to develop friendships with other parents in the same season of life.

Getting into Life (dare)
Getting into Life is an 8 week group program for people who have a desire to make positive changes in all spheres of life. If you or someone you know has issues or concerns around alcohol or any other drug use, then this group will empower you to understand the motivational principles behind changing mindsets, preventing relapse & building life skills.
Length of Course: 8 weeks
Kids In Change
“Kids In Change” is a Divorce/Separation Care program specifically written for children who are struggling to come to terms with the enormous changes that have taken place in their lives; changes due to the break up of their family. This program is designed especially for Primary School aged children (5 to 12years of age). Topics covered: Choices and change, do I get a choice? Is it my fault? Anger, why do I feel like a volcano? Forgiveness, why should I let go? Communication, how do I tell others how I feel? What about the future? There is hope!

NEWBUBS - Parents with babies
Monthly information sessions for parents with babies newborn to 12months of age, includes guest speakers discussing topics such as first foods, back in shape after birth, communicating with your baby, settling your baby and aquatics and resuscitation for babies. Sessions also include fantastic morning tea & the time to develop friendships with other parents in the same season of life.

Playgroup
A weekly educative program for children aged 6 mths-5 years with a parent / carer; includes fantastic morning tea & great friendships. Age appropriate activities, music, story times and more.
Cost: $4.00 per family per session

Skills for Stronger Families
All families are unique and this course will help strengthen, build, encourage and shape your family to have closer and more enriching relationships with one another. Sessions are highly interactive involving parents and children aged 5-12. Parents will learn more about how to be a stronger leader in the home, the importance of being a good role model and how to include your children in decision making. Children and parents will practice working together and learning that each of us has an important part to play in the family team.
